Wow !!! I haven't seen those in many a year. I don't remember the 5 button sweater at all. It's amazing they've stood up all after all these years.

Gene,

These are in pretty good shape.  The old fellow who had them was a smaller dealer in the Glaslyn, SK area.  He sold sleds until 1973 when he moved to Regina.  He said he went to the big auction and remembered that the sleds were being auctioned off in groups of three.  He bought one lot of three for $1500.

He said the sweaters were offered to dealers but they had to buy them.  The jacket is actually a pretty high qulity jacket for that day.  What i didnt get a picture of was the fact it had an inner button up vest and a zip in pant.

Kevin and I bought two sleds from this guy about 3 years ago and at the time he said he wasnt ready to see the sweater go.  On a whim, i called him the other day and he said he wanted to get rid of them.  He also had some more parts, some belts and a Yamaha timing gauge.  He gave me a great deal on it all as he just wanted it gone.
