GREAT JOB! Do you have detail photos of the dash, and the rest of the sled?

If you need something specific, the Wild-One is in my garage, I could take a photo...

I got it with a K340-2AX engine with a muffler, but the original pipe was laying next to it!
I bought a NOS engine, carbs, and clutch
It only had 460 miles on it, the track and suspension were excellent.

The "Maroon" style skis were on it, I know alot of the white "Wild-Ones" have the generic style skis, but at least one other one I know of had the old style.

I am going to post my wanted list later today. Detail photos of the dash, the knee pads, under the hood, brake and throttle, gauges, and tail light, would be a huge help.

did they actually make the fan cooled ones with the venting in the hood like this, or was that an ad on after factory?? I've seen alot of gtx's over the years.. this is one of the only ones that had this venting- saw one online a few years ago like this, but it very well could have been yours!! ?? Please enlighten me!

i've got 4 here that are identicle, and a 5th that has holes cut in the hood.. my 4 that are identicle are like Richards and most others i've encountered.. no venting holes at all cut into the hoods. the 5th with holes looks like someone cut it out- definately not as clean of a cut that a factory would ever let out for consumption, and it has a medal grill covering over it.

brent, is the metal grill a floor register?  I know that the sleds (12-17 of them) that Sid Thompson had after the factory closed, he cut register vents into most of them.  his son told me he remebers his dad cutting them into the hood, but my sled came from Sid and it has no holes in it.  So I don't know what to think?  Originally from the factory there were no holes for air, which led to them being unreliable and prone to overheating.

Anything can be fixed. I think your lucky to have as many Rollos as you do. Richard, it actually looks like a cold air return grill.
