Burgandy paint code

 I need help, my hood is ready for paint and I really need a paint code. The hood was so sun faded getting a color match off of it was impossible. Appreciated any help, Jeff.

I assume you need the code for the 73-74's?  I just did my 72 which  is the maroon/purple metallic hoods and it turned out pretty good.  I don't have the maroon code but I can get you the other one if needed

here is what mine looks like in the sun and in the shop. it is a 72 apache and is real close to the factory colour.

I don't think so.  The 1971's were red, 1972's were this maroon/purple with metallic and the 73-74's were a maroon like in this thread

if you are real stuck I can match a colour for you.  The guy who owns those sleds that I posted the link for is only a few miles from me and so is my paint guy who has all the swatches.  I can get you a close match if you would like.

 Richard, thank you very much for the knid offer. Found a fellow vintage sled nut that has a 73 about 30 miles from me. I think it will be easier to go get his hood and take it to the paint store as to have you ship me paint from Canada. I really appreciate your offer and if I can ever help you out just ask.
