I bought this 1972 Apache last year as well as a 72 ROF GRT(no motor),  Yamaha Gp 292 and a spare 292 motor all for $200.  Never gave either sled much thought but they both did fire when sprayed through the carb.  I decided to dig the Apache out of the snow bank today and dragged it into the shop.  Put on fresh gas lines and cleaned the carb.  The needle was sticking in the seat.  Put it back together and it idles and runs like a dream!!  took me about 1/2 hour to do the work and then the kids ran a tank of gas through it.  Only after my dad and I got the fun out of our systems first Grin

Here are some pics and video.  She's a real beauty Wink

My son had a little trouble with starting it Cheesy

don't know if I need it because this sled has the drive train out of the GRT racer and it will be going back in my GRT chassis.  The previous owner blew the track out of the Apache and the motor out of the GRT so he threw out the GRT motor Angry Angry Angry and then put the running gear from the grt into the apache.  It has the superflexion in it right now and it is in great shape and so is the track too.  I want to get my GRT all ready to go so that when I find a correct motor it can go right in.  The apache will be without drive train then, so I am not sure what to do with it after that?

Maybe a new long travel skid and a custom Roll-O single with a pipe and open stinger just for fun Grin
