I would like a thumb throttle for my 72 apache 292.

when converting the top end to a GP, and changing the carb to Hd i needed a bit more travel.

cracked it! It is operational but would like a replacement.

Is that the chrome plastic ones?  Kind of have a slight hook on the end?

I am pretty sure the throttle levers we used from '72 and on, were the same as some (but only some) of the Arctic Cat sleds.. Back in those days all the sled manufactures bought their controls from one of 3 or 4 suppliers. If that doesn't get you one then you will have to shorten the lever on the HD carb.
Hope this helps you....
Gene Glaze.
Check a local Cat dealer and he might have a new one for you to compare. They are Black plastic and theirs might have more travel which is what you want.
