Welcome to SnowSquall!
We are Central Ontario's newest Powersport show. A love of Vintage Sleds has led us to create a new show, and include our ATVing friends as well for an all season experience! The September Snowsquall is held September 18 & 19, at the Cookstown Georgian Steam Show Grounds, located off highway 89, with easy access to Highway 400 and 27.

The Snowsquall event has moved beyond it's beginnings as a Vintage snowmobile show to include grass drags for the sledders, pulls ( like tractor pulls) for the ATVs, trailer dealers, retailers, and a huge swap and show area. Been tuning up your machine?? Let's see whatcha got! All variety and eras are welcome to come out to show your machines and strut your stuff. Empty out your garages and workshops, and come vend and swap.

Camping with hydro and water (and dump station) is available on site for $20 a night. The grounds open Friday the 17th at 4pm for campers, and those wishing to drop off trailers and unload. Security will be on site overnight. Food is available on site by Webbs Catering. Live music Saturday night by our very own sled enthusiast, Kurt Irons.

Come on out and join the fun! Can't wait to see you there!

well I guess that settles it then on that weekend.

Gene we need to make sure that you have your ROF employee list as well as other sled people from those days ready.  I think that we should be making phone calls to everyone no later than March but maybe some early calls to put the bug in their ears would be a good idea too.

 Hi Gene, Richard and everybody.
The ROF get together for next July 16 & 17 would be great, and I would look forward to attend.
The attendance of everybody and efforts of Richard and Arlen for this year's event were greatly enjoyed and appreciated by Moose and myself. We look forward to next year to again participate.
    Thanks again!
       Wade

Well after the short notice for the get together this year which inhibited some guys from making it out.  So i think that I am going to start planning early for next year.  I was thinking that the weekend of July 16 & 17 of 2011 would work out good.  Seeding and spraying would be all done by then and harvest not yet ready.  May conflict with the cattle guys haying but you can't make everyone happy.

I am thinking that along with the ROF gathering that I will also make this a vintage show of sorts.  Basically a vintage show and shine that will be centered around ROF and those involved at the factory.

This means that I expect full participation from all you guys!  That means you had better have your sleds all together Arlen!  Put it in high gear on that secret project wild one of yours.  Louis, you should have yours back together by then too.

I guess the big question at this point is if this day works for Wade and Gene as you two guys are the focal point of this event as well as Moose but he is only minutes away.
OK... I have my 2011 calender marked in pencil.  I'll make it in ink when I hear that Wade is okay for those dates.
Gene.

Sounds like this could be one hell of a weekend. I will participate any way possible as there is work involved in organizing this. I plan on showing up with a 69 pt 150 wildone and a 74 GTX wildone.   Louis

well I got mine running tonight after a buddy helped me with the points.  Put in new Bosch points and she purrs real nice.  I have yet to mess around with the jetting but it is real close.  A bit rich right now as it is loading up a bit.  I will get it figured out once the snow comes and will post my results on here.  I will be running dual VM-32 Mikunis like the MERC Trail Twisters

how many of the 72 apache decals do you need?  I can get you the hood stripes and the wood grain.  I never did get the 292 decal done on mine but I can get you the numbers if you can tell me how high they are.

I sent you a PM too
